About TCCEWG

We believe that regardless of ability everyone has the right to lead a socially inclusive life.

We are a private organisation governed by a Board and has robust systems, policies, and procedures in place for operating our children’s residential homes.

We provide Care, and wellbeing packages of bespoke care to Children and Young people. We support children and provide specialist service provision for children with disabilities and additional support needs in our home Willow House.

We are a small run organisation that allows us to focus on positive relationships and role modelling for children and young people.

We recognise that everyone is unique and believe that regardless of ability and circumstances, everyone has the right to lead purposeful and meaningful lives and to be an active and valued participant in their community. We recognize that everyone is unique, with different strengths, abilities and ambitions and we are very much of the view that maintaining support to connect our children & young people with their community can and will bring about positive outcomes.

Our Why

To place our children and young people’s voice at the heart of everything we do and create an environment that supports and empowers them to reach their full potential in life.

Togetherness

We recognise that any previous relationships and connections are important to maintain. We will support and work holistically to ensure that any important people remain actively involved in the lives of the children we care for and support. We aim to work collectively and use an integrated approach to ensure that our care plans actively involve key people in the lives of the young people that we support.

This multidisciplinary approach will provide a team around the child. It is important to recognise who is best placed to provide the specific supports at the right time.

Transitions

There should be an ethos of continual development to promote developmentally appropriate life skills through positive role modelling from staff members and peers. We will strive to ensure that everyone will learn the key elements of being able to live independently.

We will educate our children & young people with:

  • Shopping skills
  • Cooking skills
  • Laundry skills
  • Self-care skills
  • Budgeting (living within your means) skills.

Outcomes

It is imperative that we aim to achieve outcomes for our children and young people:

  • To feel safe and valued within a warm and nurturing environment.
  • To be cared for by a highly skilled and caring staff team. Ensuring that all our children and young people have the best care available.
  • To ensure our children and young people feel valued.
  • To actively learn according to their age and stage of development.
  • To be encouraged to identify new challenges and take appropriate risks.
  • To have an identity and a sense of belonging.
  • To be part of their community and participate in activities within that local community.
  • To help and promote independent daily living skills.
  • To be part of decision-making process that affects their lives.

We Believe

We believe in our children and young people unconditionally.

Hopes & Dreams

We encourage our children and young people to have unlimited aspirations in life.

Each individual young person will be at the center of the development of their personalised care plan with realistic goals, aspirations, and outcomes to be achieved.
